Buckeye Lake Map

Buckeye Lake is the oldest state park in Ohio
Located 30 miles east of Columbus just south of Interstate 70.
The lake is 5 miles long and average 1 mile wide with 3600 acres of water.
There is no horsepower limit and no speed limit in the open zones.

The shore line is mostly private property with docks, residences, businesses and marinas. The state controls the water and owns areas of land for beaches, launch ramps and parks. The lake is located in Fairfield, Licking and Perry counties with 2 villages on the water, Buckeye Lake and Millersport. But there are many communities; Avondale, Thorn twp, Thornport, Edgewater Beach, Fairfield Beach, South Bank, West Bank, North Bank, Heron Bay and Harbor Hills to name a few. The sum of all it's parts makes Buckeye Lake a cool place to visit and a fun place to live.
