Seneca Lake Fireworks

Forth of July. Fireworks on the Lake take place on the closest Saturday night to the fourth; it is advised to call the Senecaville Lake Park Office to confirm @ (740) 685-6013. The Fireworks will be set off from the Big Island. 2000.

I went to the seneca lake with three other families expecting to see fireworks.  We could not see any sign of starting fireworks, and about 9:30 we found out that there was a big firework on July 3rd.  All the way to Seneca lake just to hear it alreayd happend! All the children were so disappointed. I felt so sorry for them.  We drove back to the downtown rochester trying to see the firework there.  When we arrived, it was already finished. I wish the web site had more accurate information.

 Sorry, it was first posted back in March, there is a phone number to call ahead to the park office, Just in case something was changed. Next time when you call ahead, please let the admin know about the change so he can update the listing,, after all this is a community web site driven by the people that use the web site.

Sorry that the info was not correct. It is sad that the kids did not get to see fireworks. It looks as though Seneca Lake had to cancel their show do to lack of funds. The Free Trade economy is really killing America.

The one comment was right as well, Please Call ahead on any event that has a phone number.. And if the event has changed for some unforeseen reason, let us know so we can make changes. If the event is close to the date, I will post the updated info on the front page.

We do try to have the best possible info we can.. Which is better than the Beacon news paper.. They still have events listed that have not happened for 2 years ...

I have added text to the even posting page to be sure to add phone numbers, email and web site so people can check ahead.
