Buckeye Lake Fireworks 2009

My family is new to the Buckeye Lake area. We usually go out of town to see fireworks. However, this year we decided to stay close to home. We are so glad we didi! The fireworks display here at Buckeye Lake was awesome! There are 4 of us and we ended up with a total of about 20 friends and family who came to the festivities. We got to North shore about 9am and got our spot. We fished all day long. Good to see ODNR doing there job checking licenses. We had a pic nic and fished and had fun. We were able to teach 4 kids and 2 adults how to fish. They all caught fish this week end. So glad we have Buckeye Lake. Back to fireworks. We loved it! At finale time you could actually feel the pounding in your chest as the fireworks were being set off. There were hundreds of people there and everyone was cheering. I only saw a few drunk people. :) restroom line was a 20 to 30 minute wait. :( But as for the fire works show..kudos! Best I've seen in awhile.
